Starbucks unveils new food and drink menu items in Canada | Food And Drink

Starbucks has introduced multiple new menu items for customers, whether they are thirsty, hungry or both.

The new items are available beginning Tuesday, according to the coffee house giant’s Canadian arm.

Starbucks is introducing new nondairy cold foams and nondairy vanilla coffee enhancer, the company said in an email to Metroland.

“Starbucks’ most popular customization, cold foam, has gone dairy-free,” according to Starbucks Canada, pointing to a 2023 Statista Canadian consumers study that shows 73 per cent of 18–35-year-olds choose nondairy options.

“Customers can now top off their favourite drink with Starbucks’ new, delicious nondairy cold foams.”

Any cold foam flavour at Starbucks is now available dairy-free, including nondairy chocolate cold foam and nondairy vanilla cold foam.

“For a limited time only,” Starbucks said, customers can try the new caramel vanilla swirl iced coffee featuring a swirl of caramel and vanilla sweet cream. There’s also the new iced nondairy salted caramel cookie matcha, green with creamy matcha oat beverage topped with nondairy salted caramel cold foam and cinnamon crumbles.

When it comes to food, Starbucks is now offering the three cheese and egg sandwich, ham and swiss croissant and orange cream cake pop.

The new menu items are getting some strong reactions online.

“Seems like a nice lineup,” Trevor Renshaw wrote on Facebook in reply to a posting introducing the new summer menu.

“Cold brew with breakfast sandwiches please,” added Aaron Nason.

“Looks so good,” Olivia Cox said, while Mary Carper simply referred to the new lineup as “yummy.”
